The purpose of Jesus dying on the cross is, so that we sinners might be
redeemed from all of our sins. If Jesus did not die on the cross, we are still
on our sins, and if sins are still within us, we cannot see God because God
said, only born again Christian will see Him. John 3:3
JESUS SAID, EXCEPT A MAN BE BORN AGAIN, HE CANNOT SEE THE KINGDOM OF
GOD.
Meaning he received Christ Jesus as His Lord God and Saviour, he
believes that He died on the cross and rose from the dead, and he also confess
that Jesus is now His Lord and Saviour and he will follow, serve and obey Him,
until Jesus comes!
Jesus suffered on the cross died in our place. Thus, His death was
vicarious that it was in the place of others. It pictures one throwing His body
over another to take the punishment in Himself. Jesus did this for lost men. On
the cross He endured in Himself the whole of God’s wrath against sins. His
death was voluntary, no man took His life from Him, He gave it freely.
John testified of this Lamb who would take away the sins of the world:
The next day John saw Jesus coming unto him, and said, Behold the Lamb
of God which takes away the sin of the world. John 1: 29
Paul says Christ died for the ungodly:
For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the
ungodly. Romans 5:6
Where the Law failed to free us from sin and death, Jesus succeeded:
For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus had made me free from
the law of sin and death. Romans 8: 2
Jesus gave Himself a ransom for us:
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man
Christ Jesus; Who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.
Jesus gave Himself for us that we might be His people:
Who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from all iniquity, and
purify unto Himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. Titus 2:14
Jesus made the one and eternal sacrifice that is good for all eternity:
Who needed not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice,
first for his own sins, and then for the people’s: for this He did once, when
He offered up Himself. Hebrews 7:27
Please pray this prayer, if in some way you have think that Jesus never
die on the cross but the truth HE DIED AND REDEEMED YOU AND I, FROM ALL OF OUR
SINS. For those who are saved, He gives great reward even His heaven He will
allow them to enter and to live with Him forever and ever, because He promised
and He also said, In My Father’s house are many mansion, if that were not so, I
need to go so that I could prepare a place one for you. John 14:6. I ask you
now to pls. pray this prayer:
“Dear Lord Jesus,
I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I have
forgiven them those who hurt me most as you have forgiven me. I believe You
died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to
come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and
Saviour. In Your Name, amen.
